Learn the importance of accurate cutting and piecing and how to achieve that accuracy. And learn just how pressing can affect your finished project…and how to do it properly. This class is for beginners and experienced quilters alike…Sometimes we all need a reminder of the basics!

BB11 Appliqué for Beginners
Hand appliqué quilts are often spectacular but what if you just don't have the time??? Learning to appliqué by machine can open up a whole new world for you! You'll be learning a variety of ways including blanket stitch, blind hem stitch and zig zag or satin stitch…as well as the correct way to prepare your appliqué pieces.

Berninas, perhaps more than any other machine, has designed a wide variety of feet that are engineered to make doing a particular task much easier. Some of those feet we already use regularly - think 1/4" foot - because it works so much better. The correct foot will guide your fabric and thread in ways just not possible by your hands alone.
