Are you just a fabric store?
- While we think you'll LOVE our selection of fabrics, we are probably first and foremost a sewing and embroidery machine shop. We also carry sergers, machine accessories, Horn sewing cabinets and Miele vacuums.

What brands of machines do you carry?
- We carry Berninas, well-known for their precision and heavy-duty motors and now leading the way with the first optical stitch regulator on a home machine. We also carry Brother machines, well-known as the pacesetter in the home embroidery field.

What are guide classes?
- We strongly believe that no matter what machine you purchase, you should know how to operate it and use all of its features. To this end, we offer guide classes to get you well on the way to understanding your machine. And the best part is...they're FREE!!!

Do you offer other classes?
- Yes, we offer a wide selection of classes ranging from quilting to general sewing to digitizing and embroidery. We even offer classes for kids! Click here to find out more.

What else?
- One of the mainstays of our shop is the numerous outside speakers we host. Every month from October through June we invite a well-known sewing or quilting personality to share her expertise and adventures with our customers. We call this "The Main Event." We always have a lot of fun and, invariably, come away inspired as well!

- We are located right outside of Doylestown on Route 202 South, about 1/2 mile below Delaware Valley College.

Isn't there another Byrne?
- Indeed there was! For 25 years Mike ran Byrne Fabrics in Chestnut Hill. Just recently sold to a long-time employee, Byrne Fabrics is now known as Fabrics on the Hill. So, you may bump into Mike more frequently in our shop while he tries to figure out the logic of a predominently female shop!

Do you do machine repairs?
- Most certainly! We have a full-time certified technician on staff to handle general cleanings as well as any repairs necessary. And yes, we repair almost any brand of machine, subject to parts availability. We also sharpen scissors and do vacuum repairs.

Anything else special about your shop?
- Well, just our customers! At Byrne we take a lot of pride in fostering a family atmosphere. Many of our customers have been with us for years and coming to the shop feels like walking into the kitchen of a good friend. That's because our customers are our friends and it makes our days fly by. Stop in for a visit; we'd love to get to know you!
