Q129 Beginner Quilting
Have you been wanting to learn to quilt? This is the class for you! Emphasis will be on rotary cutting and precision machine piecing using the newest techniques and tools. The use of short cut tips and trade tricks will allow you to complete a beautiful sampler top by the end of this class. Additionally, there will be a discussion on the types of quilt finishing. A sewing machine is not required for all sessions.

Q130 Beginner Quilting II
You did it! You're well on your way to having a completed quilt top. Yea!!! Now…what's next? Well, just a few things like backing for your quilt, selecting batting and sandwiching your quilt and basting it. Then you have to decide how to quilt it and finally you'll want to know how to bind the edges. Then you're done!!! Anne will cover each of these steps so you won't feel intimidated or overwhelmed. This class is ONLY for those students who took Beginner Quilting last semester.

This is another of those stunning quilts made with pre-cuts! Jelly rolls, in this case. Neutrals are really coming into their own lately and this quilt is a good reason why! Join Penny and a couple of high contrast jellyrolls, and see what you can create!

Q75 Tiger Melon/Tiger Moon
This is one of Sarah’s newest projects and she’s offered to take us along for the ride! This concept...which is still evolving, looks like it might be the progeny of an orange peel and a New York beauty. Can you imagine what their other children might look like?!! It a workshop style class designed for intermediate quilters, or beginners with attitude! Sarah will provide pattern sets and instructions. I have always liked the look of this traditional pattern and now you can do it all by machine! As a bonus, there is no quilting and no binding needed! Q132 Pineapple Wallhanging
Isn't this gorgeous? When Penny was looking for a pineapple quilt to do, as soon as we saw this one, we just knew it was the one. Luckily for us, it is a free Accuquilt pattern, and so that makes the cutting very easy! Especially with their new pineapple die…Everything you need…right there on one die. For those of you choosing to do this quilt without an Accuquilt, Penny will demo Eleanor Burns’ technique.

Q134 Trip Around the World
We will use Eleanor Burns’ book Quick Trip Quilts to make a quilt that can look wonderfully traditional, fun modern or somewhere in between. It goes together so nicely you will find this a relaxing sew. The sample is done without borders to give it a more modern feel but you will have a chance to decide on size, borders (yes or no). And of course, consider all the fun you’ll have choosing your 12 fabrics! Book purchase required.

Q136 Tumbling Triangles
Another wonderful quilt from our friends at Deb Tucker's Studio 180... By combining two contrasting fabrics you will create triangles tumbling down the quilt. Using your V Block tool, this quilt is fun and quick. Just jump right in and give it a whirl! Pattern and tool purchase required.

Q8 Memory Quilt
T-shirt quilts are always a favorite way to commemorate a special experience, high school or sports career or hobby, but they aren't the only way. This quilt is doable by anyone with a just little quilting knowledge, and is the perfect gift to send away to college with that favorite grad. Sally will also discuss how you might make this quilt with other "memories" such as hand written greetings, photo transfer images, and other types of clothing. See how you can make your memories even more special!

Q5 Free Motion Quilting
Okay, the quilt top is done...what do you do now? We'll talk about layering your quilt and basting, planning your quilting patterns, choosing threads and then finally, using your free-motion skills and/or BSR to execute some simple quilting patterns. Beginners will feel more comfortable after taking this techniques class, which is lecture demo and hands on.

Q32 Rule Your Rulers
Joyce is in love with this new foot and rulers, designed specifically to help you with your straight line work when you are machine quilting. Curves, too! With these tools, the foot allows you to sew right along the edge of the ruler, and hold the ruler in place so it doesn't slip under your needle. Join Joyce and learn how to keep everything straight! (Or curvy!) Plus more fun ways to quilt as well! Foot and ruler purchase required (12” arc and 3” feather). Q2 “Sew” Relaxing
Join us as we open one of our classrooms up to anyone who wants to come in and sew or quilt or whatever. You'll have a place to spread out and work to your heart's content - away from the phone and other distractions of home. The coffee's always on so bring your projects ... a friend or two and lunch. We'll provide the space and any number of folks to offer an opinion or advice on your current project! And...we might just throw in some informal tips, techniques or sneak peeks at upcoming cool stuff. "Sew," come kick back and spend a relaxing day (or part thereof!) and stitch away! You must register ahead of time for this class!
