Q154 The Giving Tree
This darling tree pattern is from Mini Wonderful Curves by Jenny Pedigo and Helen Robinson and uses the QCR mini ruler. I love so many designs in this book that there will be another class in 2020 using a different pattern. But this fall come make this unique tree – do not fear the curves!! Q149 Big Block Quilt
Sew...You are looking to knock out a quilt fast and yet...you want it to look fabulous! We have just the quilt for you!!! The hardest part about this is that everything is so big...but that’s also what makes it easy! Huge half square triangles make this go together quickly. You could even use layer cakes. Penny used an ombre and just look how effective that was. This is easily a one day quilt, and that might even include you starting to quilt!

You can still use the 8 parts to pace yourself as you sew. Q129 Beginner Quilting
Have you been wanting to learn to quilt? This is the class for you! Emphasis will be on rotary cutting and precision machine piecing using the newest techniques and tools. The use of short cut tips and trade tricks will allow you to complete a beautiful sampler top by the end of this class. A sewing machine is required at some, but not all, classes.

Q130 Beginner Quilting II
You did it! You're well on your way to having a completed quilt top. Yea!!! Now…what's next? Well, just a few things like backing for your quilt, selecting batting and sandwiching your quilt and basting it. Then you have to decide how to quilt it and finally you'll want to know how to bind the edges. Then you're done!!! Anne will cover each of these steps so you won't feel intimidated or overwhelmed. This class is ONLY for those students who took Beginner Quilting last semester.

Q5 Free Motion Quilting
Okay, the quilt top is done...what do you do now? We'll talk about layering your quilt and basting, planning your quilting patterns, choosing threads and then finally, using your free-motion skills and/or BSR to execute some simple quilting patterns. Beginners will feel more comfortable after taking this techniques class, which is lecture demo and hands on.

Q32 Rule Your Rulers
Joyce is in love with this new foot and rulers, designed specifically to help you with your straight line work when you are machine quilting. Curves, too! With these tools, the foot allows you to sew right along the edge of the ruler, and hold the ruler in place so it doesn't slip under your needle. Join Joyce and learn how to keep everything straight! (Or curvy!) Plus more fun ways to quilt as well! Foot and ruler purchase required (12” arc and 3” feather). Note: Foot is machine-specific and MUST be ordered at least two weeks before this class in order to get it in time for class.

Q2 “Sew” Relaxing
Join us as we open one of our classrooms up to anyone who wants to come in and sew or quilt or whatever. You'll have a place to spread out and work to your heart's content - away from the phone and other distractions of home. The coffee's always on so bring your projects ... a friend or two and lunch. We'll provide the space and any number of folks to offer an opinion or advice on your current project! And...we might just throw in some informal tips, techniques or sneak peeks at upcoming cool stuff. "Sew," come kick back and spend a relaxing day (or part thereof!) and stitch away! You must register ahead of time for this class!
